At LabelForge, your privacy is our priority. Because of the nature of shipping labels, we understand that you are handling sensitive personal information, including names, home addresses, and phone numbers. This Privacy Policy explains our unique approach to data security.
LabelForge is entirely a client-side application. This means that we do not have servers that process or store your label data. When you enter a sender or recipient address into our label maker, that data is processed directly by your web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) to generate the PDF or print view.
When you "save" a label to your History, that label is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (Local Storage API). We do not have access to this data, we cannot read it, and we cannot sell it to advertisers.
We use basic, privacy-respecting analytics (such as counting total page views) to understand how much traffic our site receives. We do not use invasive tracking cookies or retargeting pixels. The only cookie-like technology we use is the local storage required to remember your dark-mode preference and keep your recent labels accessible to you.
Our website may contain links to third-party carrier websites (like USPS or FedEx). If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us, and we strongly advise you to review their respective Privacy Policies. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
Because your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over its deletion. You can delete individual labels using the "Delete" button in the History tab, or you can clear all data instantly by clearing your browser's local storage or cache.
